The C.D. Leganés Foundation has collaborated for the second year running with four Leganés schools in the payment of EVAU fees. In total, it has subsidised the costs of the fees of 13 students.
The initiative was born out of the circumstances of the Covid-19 pandemic, with the Proyecto Defensor del Menor de Leganés launching a change.org petition to obtain fee exemption for students who could not meet the requirements. Through the coordination of the Leganés City Council, the Foundation took up the program and subsidised the costs.
FAPA, in charge of managing the donation
The platform's petition, which initially was only expected to reach 1,000 signatures, received 17,000 shows of support. The FAPA Delegation of Leganés was in charge of both dealing with all the demand that arose and delivering the contribution to the specific students. The association will reprise its role this year in managing the donation, which has been distributed among the 13 students according to the information provided by each IES.
