On Wednesday, C.D. Leganés paid another visit as part of its “El Lega vuelve al cole” (Lega goes back to school) initiative to the Arenales School in Carabanchel (Madrid). The school's students were visited by two players from the men's first team, Rubén Peña and Diego García, and players from the women's team, Sofía Haro and Sara Huertas, who shared an afternoon full of sport, values, and camaraderie.
During the day, the players toured the school facilities and participated in a talk with students from different grades, where they answered questions about their daily lives as professionals, the importance of effort, teamwork, and coexistence on and off the field. In addition, the students were able to discover personal anecdotes and the path each player has taken to reach Lega.
After the meeting, the children enjoyed an autograph and photo session with the four Lega representatives, who wanted to thank the entire school for their warm welcome. The activity, part of the club's commitment to strengthening its presence in the community and promoting healthy and sporting habits among young people, was once again a special experience for all participants.
