The C.D. Leganés youth and academy teams conclude a season complete with triumphs and success. All the teams now enter their highest respective football tiers with the recent promotions of the reserve team to the 2nd RFEF Division, the Infantil 'B' to the División de Honor Infantil and the league victories of the Alevín 'A' and the Benjamín 'A'.
Thanks to the support of the more than 1,000 families that have entrusted the club with their children's sporting education, the youth academy and school are more alive than ever and continue to develop their values of sacrifice, respect, imagination and humility.
Women's squads going from strength to strength
The Club is proud of its expanding role in women's football with its newly inaugurated Infantil 'B' side, created following the flood of applications for the blanquiazul youth academy. With this, the Club now includes 5 women's teams.
Onto new challenges
Looking ahead to next season, the academy pepineras will continue to grow and take on new challenges to all develop into more competitive, complete footballers. The reserve players will also be striving to get a look in on some first team action, in either training or fixtures, as Javier Avilés has managed. An academy product, the player has already cemented himself into Garitano's coaching set up, because Leganés is where dreams come true.
