Mehdi Nafti: We are on the correct path with confidence, but is complicated to maintain the regularity”

The head coach of C.D Leganés, Mehdi  Nafti, talked this Friday in a press conference for the Sunday match against C.D. Mirandés at (18:15 hours) at Butarque corresponding match for the thirty one gameweek of LaLiga SmartBank.

Regarding the rival the coach affirm that “Mirandés have played two matches with the new coach, in the second one againstt Tenerife they were superiors, with a lot of energy in the first half and they dare to win the match without any fear to lose. It is complicated to keep a good level during the whole month, all teams have  ups and downs and maintaining regularity is complicated. We are on the correct path but everything can change from one day to another. 

The coach confirm as well that for the next match there will be absents “Bruno continues with the rehabilitacion of his injury, I´m hopping Luis Perea will join the team next week, Sergi Palencia have an inconvenience on the knee, Borja have a small hamstring rupture and Omeruo has a inconvenience on the adductor and his is a doubt for the match.

The coach is happy with the performance of the team, “After the defeat at Burgos in those next matches were difficult. but it is true that after the match against Girona we saw a happier team and with confidence”. The franco tunisean trainer talk about the work of being a coach and add “I think that all the coaches have their own opinion, but the most important thing is to take the best performance possible”

Also, Nafti talked about the last reinforcements and the way they have been working since he arrive to the white and blue dock and declare, “ they are happy guys, with less fear to lose a ball we have contributed a more fresh environment and when the new guys arrived to the team, .everything is going as it should be, when new players come to the group is not what they sum to us is what they sum to the group they are humble guys despite coming from first division”.

At the end of press conference the coach told that the even though the team is having a positive streak in the tournament, Nafti declares that: ““We can’t keep tell the supporters to not have the illusion, but in the locker room we need to be cautious, we gave a good image against Girona and it provide us wings for the next match, of course that we feel the atmosphere positive and optimistic and it is good for us”.
