Since June 1, 2026, Club Deportivo Leganés S.A.D. has been chaired by Eduardo Cosín. He leads an organization with more than 98 years of history that oversees the smooth operation of 62 soccer teams: the men’s first team competes in LALIGA HYPERMOTION, playing its matches at the Ontime Butarque Stadium, which has a capacity of 14,422 spectators. In addition, there are fourteen youth academy teams, forty youth school teams, six women’s teams, an International Academy, and a Genuine team.
To ensure its effective operation, the club has nine departments: security, marketing, communications, finance, international affairs, first team, youth soccer, women’s soccer, facilities, and maintenance. C.D. Leganés has a large fan base and enjoys significant social and media influence, both within its municipality and beyond.
The effort, hard work, and commitment of all its members are the club’s greatest assets.

A native of Madrid with a degree with honors in Law and Business Administration and Management, and with extensive experience in the leadership and management of business and sports projects, Eduardo Cosín joined the club in October 2022 and has since gained in-depth knowledge of all operational areas of C.D. Leganés. His experience and deep roots within the club and the city of Leganés will enable him to tackle this new phase with stability, agility, and strategic vision.
