I.D. Butarque hosted an international friendly between the U-17 women's national teams of the United States and Germany

On 31 August, the Butarque Sports Facility hosted an international friendly match between the U-17 women's national teams of the United States and Germany. Both teams took advantage of their presence in Spain to prepare for the upcoming World Cup to be held in November in India.

The match, held on the afternoon of Wednesday 31 August on one of the pitches at the Butarque Sports Facility, ended in a 1-0 victory for the US team, in a match in which both teams got some minutes of practice ahead of the World Cup in which they will both be present.

After the match, the players of the C.D. Leganés women's teams were able to meet some of the protagonists of the match, such as the USA coach, Natalia Astrain, as well as the players Riley Jackson and Mia Bhuta. Our players took the opportunity to share experiences with the players, and were able to ask their questions and ask for advice to continue to progress as players.
