C.D. Leganés welcome Real Sociedad 'B' to the Butarque after an 8 year break

This Saturday at 21:00 (CET) C.D. Leganés play a team who only make their second ever appearance at the Butarque: Real Sociedad ‘B’. The ‘txuri-urdin’ reserve side once played the pepineros in 2013 in Segunda División ‘B’, securing a 0-1 win.

The tenth fixture in both their 2013/14 Segunda División 'B' campaigns, it was Asier Garitano's Leganés, who would go on to secure promotion to the second divison, that fell short against el Sanse after 90 minutes. Javier Eraso is the only blanquiazul veteran still at the club who featured in this game, alongside a squad also containing Joseba Zaldua, Aritz Elustondo, Álvaro Odriozola and Kenan Kodro.

That same season, Real Sociedad 'B' and Leganés held each other to a goalless draw at the Zubieta in the reverse fixture, before meeting again for the first time on the opening league game of this campaign, where the second team won on the slimmest of margins on the home ground of the Reale Arena thanks to Karrikaburu's finish.
