C.D. Leganés supports blood donation for the thirteenth consecutive year

C.D. Leganés has collaborated with the Severo Ochoa Hospital in campaigns to encourage blood donation since 2008. This year, for World Blood Donor Day, the club wants to remind all pepineros of the need to donate blood to alleviate the suffering of many people and save lives. 

During the last thirteen years, the pepinero club has been part of different blood donation campaigns with Severo Ochoa Hospital such as "You are my life, you are my heart. Donate with love" (2017), #JoyadeSangre (2018), or "Sangre de Lux, una gota en un océano de vida" (2019). In these campaigns, all players and coaching staff have gone to the hospital to donate blood and spread the word about the need for collaboration. 

Support Blood Donation Week

From June 14 to 18, the Community of Madrid will carry out the campaign "Blood Donation Week. Your hospital needs you" with the aim of achieving 900 daily donations and to reach the levels they were at before the pandemic. In this way, they will be able to alleviate the current imbalance due to the increase in the demand for blood.
