C.D Leganés presents its third kit for the 2020/21 season in honor to those heroes that fought on the front line against COVID-19. The team will use the kit for the first time in their match against F.C Barcelona for the 29^th matchday of LaLiga at Camp Nou.

The Club wants to continue with the #ThankYouHeroes campaign which has been developed to help the crisis management at the City of Leganés, one of the most affected by the pandemic in number of cases and deaths in the country. The Club has performed some actions from its foundation such as the creation of a bank account to collect resources for Severo Ochoa Hospital and other sectors impacted by the pandemic. Several donations have been done including the Ambulance for Civil Protection.

C.D Leganés want to pay a tribute to all the professionals that have fought on the front line during the past months against the coronavirus with a special recognition to all the Civil Protection, Doctors, Health Workers, Nurses, Maintenance and Cleaning Workers, Carriers, Ynsadiet Labs Workers, Inventory Suppliers, Cashiers, Supermarket Workers, Local and National Police Force, Firefighters, Civil Defense Agents, UME, Civil Guard and all the people involved in the fight against COVID-19.

The club has visited representatives from all those entities and gave them a thank you letter from the team’s captains Unai Bustinza, Rubén Pérez, Iván Cuéllar and Alexander Szymanowski. The players, talking for all the first team also gave them a new third kit jersey with their names and number '1' in the back.

The third kit from Joma (technical sponsor of the club) will be blue, the color of health institutions which is recognizable in all the masks that the ones that take care of us wear. It also has some white details and the motto #GraciasHéroes (#ThankYouHeroes) in the back of the neck. The kit will be used for the first time on next Thursday, June 16^th (22:00h) in the visit match that Leganés will play against F.C Barcelona at Camp Nou.
