In the recent competition that took place this weekend in Moshi, Kilimanjaro region, where eight LaLiga clubs associated with eight local schools participated, the pepineros reached the semifinal, where they lost against the Black Heroes, Celta's team.

 The event was attended by Álvaro Payá, LaLiga delegate in Tanzania, Samantha Peñalver, founder of the NGO Born To Learn and the Tanzanian district commissioner, Mwangi Rajab Kundya, who expressed their gratitude to the participating clubs for "giving value to children's dreams".

130 children participated in the competition

The competition has been a great euphoria in the Kilimanjaro region and has had 130 participating students thanks to the actions of the Born To Learn organization in collaboration with LaLiga, which is carrying out in the country its objective of contributing to society in an incisive way and promoting sporting and educational values.
The Dreaming Day has shown how soccer, and sports in general, have the power to promote education, social integration and gender equality, while combating racism and discrimination.
