Following yesterday's victory over U.D. Las Palmas, the team turns their attention to the next week and their training schedule to prepare for their first Copa de S.M. El Rey game of the season against Xerez Deportivo C.F. (Thursday, 20:45 CET) as well as the next league encounter against Girona F.C. (Monday, 21:00 CET).
The team commenced their training this Monday once again at the I.D. Butarque at 10:30, with their focus on their first cup tie against Xerez this Thursday at 20:45. The squad will hold two more sessions before they play: Tuesday at 16:00 and Wednesday in the morning. Mehdi Nafti will appear in a press conference following the final session to discuss the cup match the day after.
Wednesday, journey to Jerez de la Frontera to begin the cup campaign
The Pepineros will not have long to rest after their Copa Del Rey clash, with a swift return planned so as to prepare for the next league match of the season which will be played in Girona F.C.'s Estadio Municipal Montilivi on Monday (21:00). Training will be held on Friday afternoon at 16:00, as well as on both Saturday and Sunday morning behind closed doors, with the final session held in the stadium. Nafti's press conference ahead of the league fixture with Girona will be held after Saturday's training, before the team make their way to Catalonia on Sunday evening.
