C.D. Leganés add three more points against C.D. Mirandés (2-0)

With a great atmosphere at Butarque, Leganés gave another great happiness to his supporters, another victory that made them dream of the playoffs. Nyom scored at first at the minute 24’, Arnaiz set the second goal at 35’ to seal the victory white and blue.

 The match showed in the first half, the local team showed a good performance but on the second part of the match the opportunities weren’t so clear, Nyom played a great game in the victory of the team is still climbing in  the position table .

The first minutes were difficult to manage a strong defense of C.D. Mirandés makes things difficult. Nevertheless the first action was at the minute 7’ when Arnaiz connected with Pardo, and the number 18 tried to make the first shot of the match, the ball hit one defense. However the match advanced and Dani Jiménez appeared, in the 13’ minute he saved the team from a shot from Riquelme. 

It was a matter of time, Lega was pushing Mirandés back to his side and on the 24’ minute, after a corner kick, Nyom appeared inside the box to score the first goal, it was a double header inside the box. And the difference was increased after the referee awarded a penalty kick for Lega for a handball inside the box. The shot was taken by Arnaiz that at the 35’ minutes scored the second goal of the match. The first half finished with a great image of the local team, having controlled all the matches and not suffering at the back.

At the start of the second half, Lega had the first substitution, sending out the scorer Arnaiz and into the pitch Ranjelovic entered, and fifteen minutes later it was Gaku for the captain Recio. In th4 second half the game turns out to be more physical and there are a lot of battles in the center of the field. In the 69’ minute Mehdi Nafti sent Jon Bautista and Juan Muñoz for Qasmi and Rubén Pardo. 

The second half was very difficult to play, there were a lot of fouls, and Mirandés tried to keep the ball but without any danger. Nevertheless, Lega got some opportunities to extend the difference, all of the plays were due to a counter, Jon Bautista tried it when the goal was alone without any luck at the minute 83’. Róber Ibáñez that entered on the 84’ got a double shot two minutes before he entered the field, but the goalkeeper stopped the shot. Next match will be away against the U.D. Ibiza at the Can Misses Stadium next saturday (16:00)
