C.D. Leganés coach, Asier Garitano, appeared in a press conference this Saturday after the pepineros played C.D. Speaking about the result, the coach commented that "we paid the price for a weak start and then we sat back, but we lacked a lot of depth in our game. In the second half we started a lot better, we were doing well, the changes we introduced had reinforced the midfield and we managed to level the game and it seemed to be going in our direction. But then we conceded again, which was a big blow to our mood. On top of the Bárcenas injury and the other absences in the squad, once again we let the game get away from us, especially when we need a win".

For Garitano, "we've conceded two goals with so little from our opponents, but the reality is that it's very difficult to concede twice. At the moment we're lacking defensively, not just because of the back line, but because of the whole team. I've always said that teams grow from defensive stability". 

Looking ahead to the next game, "despite the losses, we have to go out and get it, we're not going to give away any game because in this division, each game is the chance for a fresh start. We'll go into the next game to win it; I have no doubt".
