C.D. Leganés forward Alfred Gøthler has been called up by Denmark to dispute the Under-19 European Championship, which will take place in Wales between the next June 28 and July 11.
Gøthler, signed by Leganés the past month of February proceeding from the Danish HB Koge and who will turn 19 years old the next Wednesday, June 24, finds himself among those convened by Denmark, which will play the group stage against Germany (June 28, 21:00 hours), Spain (July 1, 19:00 hours), and Wales (July 4, 15:00 hours).
In case of overcoming the first phase, Denmark would dispute the semifinals on Wednesday, July 8, while the grand final of the tournament is foreseen for Saturday, July 11. The tournament is classificatory for the next Under-20 World Cup, with a playoff that will grant the last place on the same July 8 between the third-placed teams of each group.
