C.D. Leganés’ Under-19s secured their first win of the season this weekend with a 3-0 victory over Las Rozas C.F. at the I.D. Butarque. The side, managed by Alberto Bueno, have thus picked up their first three points following the draw on the opening day against Trival Valderas.
The match was evenly contested for much of the first half, with both sides going head-to-head. After the half-time break, the Pepineros stepped up a gear and demonstrated their quality in attack and their clinical finishing.
Izan, with a brace, and Escamilla were the scorers of all three goals in the victory, which sees the Juvenil A side record their first win in the División de Honor.
The Pepineros’ next league fixture will see them travel to face Atlético de Madrid in the next round of fixtures.
