The C.D. Leganés Foundation's Powerchair team is a clear example of how soccer can be a sport accessible to everyone, regardless of physical barriers. Made up of players in wheelchairs, the project highlights passion, effort, and teamwork, offering an inclusive space where each participant has the opportunity to enjoy the sport, develop new skills, and overcome personal challenges.
Since its creation, the team has been entirely formed by the Atlas Adaptado Association, which has allowed us to become one of the pioneering teams in this modality within professional soccer clubs.
In addition, the C.D. Leganés Powerchair team participates in national competitions and has players who have been part of the Spanish national team, standing out at the national and international level. This growth not only reaffirms the importance of soccer as an inclusive tool, but also highlights the club's commitment to offering a quality sporting opportunity for everyone, regardless of their abilities.
The team demonstrates that soccer has no barriers and that, with effort and determination, anything is possible.
